“The architectural image that follows is essentially new, modern and more integrated with the surrounding context.” AF
The project involves the renovation of the existing hospital complex and the construction of a block for new facilities. This volume becomes the new entrance to the renewed hospital, in which all the services for the public will be located. The renovation of the existing buildings is lead from an architectural, structural and plant point of view, with the imperative condition of a project that considers a construction site in coexistence with the continuous hospital functions.
A radical renovation and expansion of the facilities, and an improvement of the energy performance obtained through a new plant structure and a new building shell, is to be added to the optimization requirements concerning the new organization of the functions, paths and streams.
The architectural image that follows is essentially new, modern and more integrated with the surrounding context.
