The ex-cinema built in the ‘50s is composed of three bodies: two parallelepipeds with different heights contain a third volume covered by a 5-pitches roof. This roof covers up most of the hall of the former cinema. Despite the radical renovation of the building and its new function (it will house a residential complex, with a small shopping department, at the ground floor), the project intends to maintain the main features of the existing structure. The main characteristic of the building is the succession of opaque, transparent and semi-transparent materials, selected according to formal choices and considering the requirements of the new function.
