LA BIENNALE DELLO STRETTO 2024 / COMING SOONHow many dystopian visions has literature, art, and film offered about cities of the future? How many scenarios, futuristic and distant, are already today or soon to be reality? The cities of the future, as they will really be, with water in the foreground – and the daily news harshly testifies to the emergency – and the fundamentals of living – living, health, mobility, schooling, culture – will be the subject of narrative, debate, and planning at the second edition of the Straits Biennial.
From September 18th to December 14th, an exhibition-exposition of international projects, debates and insights with authoritative guests, between Calabria and Sicily. Along with the directors Mariangela Cama, Alfonso Femia, Francesca Moraci and curators Arianna Azzellino, Luisa Bravo, Stefano Capolongo, Giulio De Carli, Gaetano Di Gesu, Alessandra Ferrari, Luciano Galimberti, Marirosa Iannelli, Annalisa Metta, Mauro Francesco Minervino, Luca Molinari, Giovanni Multari, Rosaria Ester Musumeci, Orizzontale, Federico Parolotto, Angela Pellicanò, Gaia Sgaramella, Francesco Scullica, Giuseppe Smorto.
