The choices and the founding criteria for this project arise first of all from a careful territorial analysis of the context in which Staveco is located, and secondly from the strong need to want to provide the city with a new site, in full respect of the existing building and its historical-documental value.
\nThe urban area in which the Staveco Compendium is located, lies exactly between the historic center of Bologna to the north and the Bolognese Hills to the south, with the Regina Margherita Gardens flanking the area to the east. In this context, the new Justice Park will have to be read as a possible “hinge” element, a connecting point between the 3 Territorial Scenarios mentioned above, making it a catalyst for future developments in the area, with the intention of creating a driving element of an “active” neighborhood, which will encourage the anchoring of new urban realities in the existing context.

\n Based on these analyses, the founding act of the project will be to reconstruct the different existing territorial realities through four pivotal actions:

\n2) CONNECT to pedestrianize.
