Situated within the urban development envisioned by the Beruto Plan at the end of the 19th century, the building aligns with the continuous \u201ccortina\u201d block fabric of that era. The surrounding context is prestigious, with a predominance of late 19th and early 20th-century buildings. Constructed in 1904, the building sits on a corner and features two street-facing sides: the main one on Via Cellini and the second on Via Marcona. The design proposal is the result of a careful survey of the current state of the site, with the aim of enhancing the interior spaces\u2014including the current basement and attic areas\u2014reviving the courtyard as a quality space, and upgrading the building from an energy perspective in accordance with maximum sustainability, indoor comfort, and consumption optimization. All goals are aligned with the new PGT (Territorial Government Plan) of the City of Milan.
