“A territory where the cities of Bry-, Champigny- and Villiers-sur-Marne are no longer only satellites of Paris, but become a center of attraction in the heart of this metropolitan area.” AF
This urban study is designed to develop a proposal for the strategic planning of urban polarities of Bry-, Champigny- and Villiers-sur-Marne. These are located in the heart of an area marked by important transformations generated by the construction of a new station on the Grand Paris Express railway line.
Opening the abandoned area of the former VDO, and strengthening this area of activity by working on its attractiveness, are both imperatives of the project which mixes and includes several themes like the construction of the new network lines for public transport, the realization of a new urban boulevard, the development of a higher urban density structured through a network of green areas and public spaces on a territorial scale.
This study aims to define a contract of territorial development that would allow an integrated development of three municipalities by defining the territory of tomorrow. A territory where the cities of Bry-, Champigny- and Villiers-sur-Marne are no longer only satellites of Paris, but become a center of attraction in the heart of this metropolitan area.
