For “The Corner” in Milan, Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia creates a system of mirroring and reflecting surfaces on the two public areas close to the “Biblioteca degli Alberi” park.

“We explore the idea of physical and/or perceptual “encroachment”, as something capable of creating a sense of belonging between the spaces, the perceptions and the different souls around a building, an urban area, a city. The arcade, the halls and the projecting roof, situated on the side of The Corner which overlooks the park, all reflect the context: the park within the building, the building within the park, creating different perceptions throughout the different moments of the day."
