MDW21 HOPERAPERTA “THE CELIBATE OBJECT”

Hoperaperta is a cultural project that promotes art design through a collection of limited edition authorial pieces, creating site-specific exhibitions and digital events around them.
Alfonso Femia, following the theme of the exhibition curated by Patrizia Catalano and Maurizio Barberis, has designed “La Trama Infinita”, a totemic group of four elements in which geometric shapes interact with the combined use of materials.

“From signs to traces that over time have become founding plots, a relationship with places, with our face turned towards space, the sky, the infinity.
With infinity, man measures fears and ambitions, feelings and destinies. Single elements, apparently disconnected from each other, trace a weave, the narration of its journey in the continuous pursuit of living." AF
