UN MARE DI LUCE, AVVENIRE

In the context of the first session of the Biennale dello Stretto, Paolo Viana, journalist for Avvenire gathered different voices on the debated topic of the Mare di Luce. The three Biennale directors, Alfonso Femia, Mariangela Cama, Francesca Moraci, the mayor of Reggio Calabria, Giuseppe Falcomatà, the deputy mayor of the metropolitan city Carmelo Versace, the mayor of Villa San Giovanni, Giusy Caminiti, the mayor of Campo Calabro Rocco Alessandro Repaci, the president of OAPPC Reggio Calabria, Ilario Tassone, the architect Salvatore Vermiglio, an expert on infrastructure issues, the landscape architect Michelangelo Pugliese, and the architect and photographer Marco Introini: convergences and divergences, framed outside the muscular logic of politics, a restitution that highlights how the cultural approach and perspective is the only possibility for the Strait area and, in general terms, for architectural design anywhere.
