Alfonso Femia, with the Dallara Academy, starts the research and the development of biodynamic concrete in architecture. It characterizes the collective spaces (auditorium, learning and exhibition rooms) of the Dallara Academy.
« The will is to give the prefabricated concrete the dignity of the design back in order it to, today, recover the role and the meaning of a construction tradition that, during the last decades, was lost in the banalisation of the theme and in the erasure of every idea of matter and architecture. It is important to get and give value back to traditions and construction technics that need a reflection and a realisation thanks to a direct dialog with the enterprises. »
