The masterplan for the Forte San Pietro and former Macelli area extended to the urban subdivision La Venezia was presented today at the Bottini Dell’Olio Library in Livorno.

The project, developed by Alfonso Femia / Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, together with KCity, Eutropia Architettura, H&A Associati, Dr. Giovanni Campagnoli and Dr. Stefano Landi, is inspired by a strategic vision that reconciles three key elements: the water line that recovers the canals of the historic city with the new urban territorial park and the ideal threshold between the port and urban areas.
Shared with the president of the Port System Authority, the president of Asa, the urban planning councillor Silvia Viviani, and the Rup Camilla Cerrina Ferroni, the masterplan aims to enhance the existing heritage by dedicating 60 percent of the area to public green areas.
