“kADRA” is the new project, signed AF*Design for ALBED, which will be presented during the event “The Door in the City” organized on the occasion of the Milan Design Week.
A hinged door by the linear and geometrical design that marks the beginning of a prestigious collaboration between the well-known designer and the company. The central element is the frame of the door which formally defines the gap, the threshold, the space between two spaces.
“The door separates the spaces while the frame establishes a connection, it defines a ’volume’, an entre-deux, in the passage between the spaces. It fits into position according to will and needs, establishing different relationships between the two spaces.”
