Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia participated to the RSAW spring school in Portmeirion where they confronted themselves on the theme of “watermarks” with the University of Wales Trinity Saint Davidy / Swansea and the University of the West of England, with English (Baca architects) and Dutch architecture firms (Jandirk Hockstra H+N+S). The experience in the cities of Marseilles, Algiers, Tangier and Genoa are the basis of the reflection on the relationship of the city as a dialog between “the physical body and the liquid body” which Alfonso Femia is developing around the Mediterranean with AF517.
