Alfonso Femia - with 5+1AA, whose name became Atelier (s) Alfonso Femia in 2017 -, Simonetta Cenci and all the Atelier(s) are proud to announce that the project for the urban and architectural redevelopment of the former Fitram industrial area, in the neighbourhood of Canaletto in La Spezia, is one of the projects selected as « the most beautiful Italian architectures inaugurated in 2017 » by the Corriere della Sera.
In 2017, we inaugurated the new headquarters of BNL-BNP Paribas in Rome. Yet, these are the projects at the heart of the territory, even if small, that must be able to reconnect some urban areas, neighbourhoods that lost their identity over time and suffered a « caesura » with the new generations.
Architecture must achieve to make the most important and difficult « gaze » turn in order to belong to all and be « nourished » of each person.
The experience of the Canaletto neighbourhood was stimulating and important and we could, thanks to everybody, make « the project, a dialog tool », so that each action belonged to the ones who promoted it, realised it in order to share it.
The project is « a look ».
