TRIESTE LINEAR PARK / EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK

"In the city's design evolution, public spaces have been the great absentee for decades. And when they are present, they are codified by function and place.
Our idea is that public spaces should shift from a passive dimension to becoming areas that generate urban quality.
Drastic choices are needed, imagining a city without cars or with reduced traffic seems impossible, but Oslo, Paris, Barcelona... are virtuous and very close examples.
Traffic can no longer be the main function of streets.
The street is a public space and it must progressively become the part that will revolutionize the use and quality of cities, we need to be radical and decisive!"
