BETWO / RED DOT DESIGN AWARDS

awards

We are proud to announce that BeTwo, designed by Alfonso Femia/AF*Design with iGuzzini, was recently assigned the Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design category.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world. A jury of 39 experts made up of professors, consultants, journalists and industrial designers evaluated the large number of entries based on the four basic principles of good design: degree of functionality, formal design, quality of use, and degree of social and environmental responsibility.

The Red Dot Design Award traces nearly 70 years of history: in 1955, a jury met for the first time to evaluate the best designs of the time. In the 1990s, Professor Peter Zec, CEO of Red Dot, developed the name and branding of the award. Since then, the "Red Dot" has been the internationally recognized mark that recognizes outstanding design quality. Award winners are featured in yearbooks, museums and online.
