Alfonso Femia has been invited together with Danilo Trogu to participate in the conference “Exploring Majolica in Architecture: A Multidisciplinary Path between Design and Architecture” to talk about the relationship between ceramics and architecture: a process of conceptual and creative material encroachment, positive contamination between different dimensional scales, between detail and overall vision.

Organized by Adi Liguria's Thematic Commission “Handmade in Italy” with the sponsorship of ADI - Association for Industrial Design, University of Genoa, Savona Order of Architects, City of Savona, Savona Museum of Ceramics the educational event examines the role of ceramics in contemporary architecture and explores the interconnections between design, architecture and neuroscience.
