The book “The intelligence of ceramics”, published by Marsilio Arte in Italy and Ante Prima – AAM Editions in France, is part of the selection of books to read in November (and to offer as a Christmas gift) made by the magazine Elle Decor. This book presents everything that allows us to understand the relationship between ceramics and architecture: the history, as far back as it exists, of the experiences of French and Italian projects France but also the soul of the matter expressed through the multiple forms of its intelligence.
A story with several voices – Aldo Colonetti, Jean-Philippe Hugron, Matteo Vercelloni, Maurice Culot, Alfonso Femia, Danilo Trogu, Mauro Manfredini – which, through a journey in images, presents the architecture of the Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia.
