The magazine Interni selected "The Intelligence of Ceramics" in the Interni Books reviews section. The book identifies five "intelligences" inherent to ceramics: emotional and plastic, chromatic and thermodynamic, and finally, the open intelligence. These categories outline architectural research conducted by Alfonso Femia, which is complex in nature, and help to interpret the projects selected for the volume. The projects are presented with an extensive collection of color photographs and accompanied by drawings and sketches, along with significant inserts of examples taken from history.
