INVISIBLE MEDITERRANEAN(S) / IL VIAGGIO NELLO STRETTO III

news

The prehistoric Mediterranean is the microcosm where everything was formed, the perfect model to help us research on the globalized world in which we live. This was stated by Cyprian Broodbank, historian and author of "Mediterranean”, who also affirmed "Europe has not always existed, the Mediterranean has."

From September 17th to the 20th, we resume the exploration of the Invisible parts of the Mediterranean, those we do not look at and do not know how to see, a project and research strongly wanted by Alfonso Femia, even in this particular year, together with Giorgio Tartaro, 500x100 and numerous fellow travellers.
With this 3rd edition of the Viaggio nello Stretto, we continue to explore this territory with the aim of returning the experience in a text that is a synthesis of thoughts and intentions and at the same time a concrete analysis and a proposal to re-attribute value and future to it.
In this confused post-pandemic time, the Mediterranean is the way to go, both as an opportunity and a challenge.
