MEDITERRANEI INVISIBILI, VIAGGIO NELLO STRETTO IV / GAZES – MARIO FERRARA

Invisible Mediterranean(s) is the continuous research for a human and territorial dimension.
During its latest edition, the photographer Mario Ferrara embraces the Strait by catching a thread that begins with the Chiesa del Calvario di Seminara - the city of ceramics that Picasso liked - on the border between the town, and the cemetery, the limit between the well-known and the unknown.
On this border, Ferrara reads the contradictions of the water lines. The mountain dam, the two coasts, the high tension on the edge of the beach, the solitude of the concrete pillars, the departure and return, the discovery and nostalgia of the places. A mosaic of images that builds knowledge and is a necessary premise to do projects.
