The headquarters of the Caterina Dallara Foundation, designed by Alfonso Femia / Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, was inaugurated on June 20. The building features a lightweight structure and is integrated into the heart of a gently sloping hillside over two floors, including a basement to compensate for the slope.
A flock of white and blue ceramic butterflies, created by ceramic artist Danilo Trogu, dots the walls of the Foundation, "resting" on the light texture of its facades.
The objective of the Caterina Dallara Foundation, founded by Giampaolo and Angelica Dallara, is clear: to create value and opportunities with the local community to improve people's lives, promote the territory, combat inequality and educational poverty, and disseminate art and culture.
