The exhibition "X * I = CCL. Ten architects for Vanvitelli" opens today, curated by the Culture Commission of the PPC Order of Architects of Caserta, and will be open until March 15th at Corso Trieste 31, Caserta.
On the occasion of the Celebrations for the two hundred and fifty years since the passing of Luigi Vanvitelli, the Council of the PPC Order of Architects of the Province of Caserta along with its Culture Commission wished to commemorate the author of the monumental complex in Caserta (Palace, Park and Aqueduct: 1997 UNESCO site) with an exhibition.
The ten Italian architects, who were invited to participate in the exhibition, were asked to create a panel inspired by Vanvitelli and his work.
Alfonso Femia participates together with Sara Massa presenting the work "Speranza del bel tempo," elaborated from a photo by Mario Ferrara, with "artistic contaminations" from the works of William Turner, Henri Rousseau, and Raimondo Sirotti.
