“Working on the principle of the free plan, opposite to the direction of alignment. This choice allowed us to provide breathing space along the streets, public places and collective sites linked by the new tram line.” AF
The working area of Velizy-Villacoublay is facing a period of change, particularly in relation to the arrival of the T6 (tram line). Our work aims to define a development proposal for this site, disconnected from the rest of the city and which consists of 80% of tertiary and commercial buildings. The proposed master plan respects the identity of the place made of the aggregation of several architectural volumes all independent from each others. Working on the principle of the free plan, opposite to the direction of alignment. This choice allowed us to provide breathing space along the streets, public places and collective sites linked by the new tram line.
