Alfonso Femia, who has participated in HoperAperta since its first edition, in 2019, takes in the adjective “absolute” giving the surface an inclusive meaning: an element of mediation, which metaphorically welcomes the dimensions of Time and Space crossed by Light and Matter.

“Entre-Deux – Between two worlds” is the title of the work that clarifies the dual vision of elements.
Two parallel partitions rise on the diagonal traced on a rectangular plate. The coating of the plate, defined by the geometry of the cut, is partly in ceramic and partly in oxidized metal, just as the partitions are one in ceramic, the other in metal with the same texture.
