Alfonso Femia presents ENTRE-DEUX, a door that enhances the value of decoration through volumes and materials and transforms the theme of passage into a home ornament.
Hinged or pivoted, with a linear and geometric design, the central element is the frame which, formally defines its passage, the threshold.
“The door separates while the frame connects and defines a ‘volume’, an entre-deux in the passage between different spaces. It adapts according to the user’s wishes and needs, establishing different relationships with what comes before and after its threshold.” AF

In any project, the thoughts behind the architecture always filter through paper and its physicality.
Paper is a magical material: it communicates the idea, allows you to agree and disagree, and it is a way for exploring new spatial dimensions.
Alfonso Femia shares his thoughts on “paper” in the project “Paper Worlds” by Giorgio Tartaro with StayGreen and Attico.

A Joyful Sense at Work
Turning the work space into a chronotopic place, means that it changes according to time and space, a place that lives and that is created and modified according to how it is used and to the needs and desires of those who “live” it.

An evolving and dynamic element that changes its shape to meet the individual needs of each specific time, in a continuous metamorphosis of forms and relationships, building a landscape that opens, delimits, defines areas, modalities and working conditions according to a spontaneous, empathic and functional relationship.
