“The building, in offering its shapes, it tends its networks, not only to space and light, but also to the gaze, to the visual connections between the different entities of the program. The singularity is based on the fact that in the composition the voids count as much as the full parts.” AF
The project for a Culinary Arts & Hospitality Studies high school is incorporated in the landscape, simultaneously respecting and enhancing it. The building fits into its setting as if it were part of the panorama: its extended form is partly buried to reduce the visual impact on the landscape and leave the natural lie of the land unaltered. The glass parts reflect the landscape and sky creating interaction between the project and its location.
