The simple-shaped house lies on a steeply sloping ground, trying to to make the most of the peculiarities of the place (the green, the landscape, the discretion deriving from the the surrounding forest). The house has two floors and a partially buried ground floor, transparent but entirely closed by full-height wooden-shutters (to enhance the connection with the woods). The stair are located in the centre of the building; the services and a guest-room are upstream while the kitchen and the living room (the “public” part of the house) are on the groundfloor, facing the sea. The “private” part of the house is articulated on the first floor: three bedrooms and an attic. The project preserved all the existing trees (pines and oaks).
