“It seems to hide away only to reveal itself to anybody interested in discovering, revisiting and experiencing it. Out in the open air like a magical instrument that wants its call to be heard and to become a place of celebration, the building turns into light which fills the skies, music which permeates the soul.” AF
The difficulty of a certain “solitude” of this “landmark” building provides the opportunity for a founding act, as well as the strength to reject contemporary narcissism and self-referentiality.
The building establishes a clear link between nature and artifice, able to evolve and change over time. It seems to hide away only to reveal itself to anybody interested in discovering, revisiting and experiencing it.
Under the sky, as a magical instrument that wants its call to be heard and to become a place of celebration, the building turns into light which fills the skies, music which permeates the soul.
Its true richness is its space, the invention of a kind of public space in a mixture of interior and exterior to allow everybody to take part in an event and be immersed in music. Its rather distorted shape could constitute a system for urban development. Based on a series of open and closed spaces in which nature and artifice follow-on like a sequence of musical notes on a music sheet.
