“The building is composed of three separate sections featuring different outside finishes which distinguish the main functions of the pharmacy: delivery area, shipment area and storage space for large quantities of stocks; distribution area, storage and preparation; offices area and research laboratories ” AF
The demand for a very functional building capable of expanding northwards resulted in the design of a compact and rationally set-out building, whose extended form creates an axis for all the various circulation flows (incoming and outgoing, external and internal). We managed to conserve most of the trees on the site; the building fits into its context like a feature of the landscape: the building blends into nature over towards the south; to the north and east the building extends beneath the horizon line, reflecting the landscape and playing on the different shades of nature. The building is composed of three separate sections featuring different outside finishes (cladding, metal panelling, polycarbonate), which distinguish the main functions of the pharmacy: delivery area, shipment area and storage space for large quantities of stocks; distribution area, storage and preparation; offices area and research laboratories (over two levels).
