“THE CITY OF MEMORY”
“But the city does not tell its past, it contains it like the lines of a hand, written in the corners of the streets, […] every segment marked in turn with scratches, notches, carvings, scrolls.”
(Invisible Cities – Italo Calvino)

The Project Actions provide for a series of interventions that are distributed over an area of 1.7 km.
Specifically, the ones with the greatest weight are certainly those related to the existing pavement on the Falcomatà and C.so Matteotti seafront, as well as on the transverse connections between the two main roads mentioned above.
The project actions are developed on the 5 main themes:
– resumption of the pedestrian section on the Falcomatà promenade,
– redesign of the pedestrian cross paths,
– increase of the pedestrian section on the Matteotti course by 50 cm,
– renovation of the pedestrian pavement sections in stone, curbs in stone,
– installation of a new and more efficient lighting system and video surveillance system
