Conceived by Alfonso Femia, promoted and organized by the benefit corporation 500×100 and the Order of Architects of Reggio Calabria, and directed by Alfonso Femia, architect, together with Mariangela Cama, an architect from Reggio Calabria, and Francesca Moraci, architect and professor at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, “La Biennale dello Stretto” stands out within the European landscape of architecture-related events primarily for its geography.
This volume brings together the research projects developed specifically for the Biennale dello Stretto by Marco Introini and by Mario Ferrara and Gianni Aurino; the works by photographers on the Lines of Water; the exhibition design and design projects curated by ADI, Calabria and Sicily territorial delegations; as well as the installations and artworks exhibited in Campo Calabro and in the “Biennale diffusa” session in Badolato.
