“We wanted to create a permeable public space capable of linking the different urban sectors through physical and visual continuity. Permeability takes shape in a system of fluid pathways, safe crossings, and direct connections with new focal points” AF
The masterplan engages in dialogue with the green system of Monza, becoming a new public and private green lung and reopening to the city a portion that had so far been impenetrable. The design principles are translated into technological, compositional, and architectural elements capable of integrating aesthetic quality and functional performance into a unified system. We wanted to create a permeable public space capable of linking the different urban sectors through physical and visual continuity. Permeability takes shape in a system of fluid pathways, safe crossings, and direct connections with new focal points. A clear hierarchy between public and private flows, with dedicated access points and transversal connections, makes the complex permeable and connected.
