“The past and the future, the union of differences, the dialogue between elements of various nature, discovery and wonder, introversion and extroversion which is almost always displayed as a ‘center of symmetry’, in a project whose purpose unites everything in a single rule.” AF
The project of the House of the European history is born with the precise wish to represent, as founding action, the composition the same idea of European union. An idea that has been growing since its origins in the relationship between unity and difference, through the value of participation and sharing. The program and the theme were further confronted according to a modality capable of representing the various themes (the past and the future, the union of differences, the dialogue between elements of various nature, discovery and wonder, introversion and extroversion…), which is almost always displayed as a “center of symmetry”, in a project whose purpose unites everything in a single rule.
