“The Diamant ceramic tiles create a play of reflections and light, highlighting the color variations at each time of day, depending on the sky and its brightness. The material complements the geometry of the buildings located on Piazza Europa.”

Our proposal for the renovation of the existing facades involves the use of ceramic tiles. This allows for optimal use of the balconies and an architecture that creates a loggia effect. Furthermore, the ceramic tiles meet the client’s requirements, who wanted the facade cladding to cover the building’s pillars and for the window frames to be aligned with the interior corners of the pillars.
The Diamant ceramic tiles create a play of reflections and light, highlighting the color variations at each time of day, depending on the sky and its brightness. The material complements the geometry of the buildings located on Piazza Europa.

The removal of the existing formwork wire, the correction of thermal bridges in the floors, and the insulation inside the pillars optimize the building’s overall energy performance.
Our proposal does not alter the existing interior layout, allowing for immediate renovation of the currently bare floors and thus a rapid return to service of the building. The new façade blends harmoniously into the interior spaces, creating proportionate loggias whose impact is less than 5% of the total surface area. They do not compromise the spaciousness of the housing or commercial spaces but, on the contrary, contribute to enhancing the spaces.
Transparency is an essential element of the envelope’s performance, as well as its flexibility of use: to respect the budget and to optimize insulation performance and reduce the building’s energy consumption, high-performance windows are installed. The shallow loggias guarantee excellent natural light in the interiors, while significantly limiting potential glare or discomfort.
