Conceived by Alfonso Femia, promoted and organized by the benefit corporation 500×100 and the Order of Architects of Reggio Calabria, and directed by Alfonso Femia, architect, together with Mariangela Cama, an architect from Reggio Calabria, and Francesca Moraci, architect and professor at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, “La Biennale dello Stretto” stands out within the European landscape of architecture-related events primarily for its geography.
This volume presents the projects selected by the directors as deserving special attention for their originality and level of depth, identified among the submissions to the call to action, as well as those resulting from invited calls and from the work of the curators delegated to the development of the themes of The Cities of the Future.
Dedicated sessions are devoted to the works of young architects who responded to the provocation of the Under 35 Contest on the theme of nomadism, along with contributions from universities.
